Would love the Bills to develop an offensive identity that isn't "Josh Allen is a physical freak" but I haven't seen the slightest shred of evidence that this offensive staff is capable of it.

Seems to be a significant disconnect between the front office and how they actually call the games. They traded for Hines to put him on some random kickoff returns and not remotely use the fact that he's one of the best receiving backs in the league.

We deserved every second of that ass kicking. This team just started playing brain dead after our bye. Good luck Bengals. Beat KC again.

Buffalo needs a legitimate running game to succeed.

You look at all the teams left alive. They all have it. Chiefs have one, Philly has the one two punch of Scott and Sanders. San Francisco has McCaffery and Deebo when the time calls for it. Cincinnati has Mixon who's pretty reliable.

Josh Allen being able to run is good but you can't expect him to do literally everything for you to win.

Buffalo defense was a hot mess, the running game was not existent and Josh Allen gunslinging in the snow was a bad choice.

Defense you can't really blame on the Bills. They've taken so many injuries to key personnel on that side of the ball there isn't much they could do. Von Miller probably being the most significant.

They first have to make some commitment to it.

It's not so much the personnel that's the issue as the playcalling. Burrow is the best QB in the NFL against the blitz and the Bills blitzed him multiple times early.

The one that got me the most was on a 3rd and 6 or whatever in the red zone. The sent max pressure but had Tre White play off of the Bengals receiver (can't recall which one) which let Burrow have an easy pitch and catch for a run for a first down.

He's beaten Allen and Mahomes on the road in the playoffs, no reason why he can't be considered that. I'd take him right now over anyone.
He said it out loud himself. I found it interesting. There’s no doubt the truth of what he said. I never said it wasn’t true.

Thanks everyone for the explanation though.

If Burrow beats Mahomes in KC again and finishes it off this year with a ring - he will essentially be the closest thing to Brady we have seen. Mahomes is still "the best" in the way Rodgers or Manning had been for long stretches but you can't go 0-4 including two home AFC title losses to a single other guy and be the undisputed king.

Then again, if Mahomes gets his revenge and wins another MVP and another Super Bowl with 3 SB appearances and mention 5 AFC title games in 5 years as a starter - the distance between him and anybody else is only going to seem greater than ever.

There's a lot on the line next week - not only of course a trip to the Super Bowl but in regard to where these two teams and more specifically these two QB's stack up in a legacy-building perspective.

I think the Bills could use another RB who is more physical. Singletary has some nice moves, but he’s not the guy who is going to wear down a defense.
