Welp I think we can just assume that we won't do much this trade deadline. Toews is too big a risk and there isn't much else out there in terms of a 2C.

Obviously 2 weeks to go, but not really a fan of how CMac has handled this season so far. Got to be more in touch with the needs of the team. We were overstocked on D, lacked on 2nd line C. It was painfully obvious.

Tough decisions had to be made and it was going cost EJ or G but we needed the cap for a 2C.

This feels like a wasted season right now without a true 2C to compete in the playoffs.

I think they'd trade weegar first to save some cap, and kadri wouldn't waive his NMC.
