Whoever 23 for Sweden was looked like a decent bottom 6 threat. Very involved. Not a lot of natural skill but good anticipation, motor and aggression

Would like to see more intensity from Sweden. They were very much on their heels in that period with spurts of offensive forays.

They didn't spend a lot of time outside their own zone.

Wright scores. 5-0. Amazing shot by Wright.

Othmann got rocked just as he made the pass to Wright. He gets up and rubs the helmet of Sjoholm. Lol

Is it ever weird to watch these OHL kids play. A bit of a weak goal there. Down too early and didn't track the point shot. Sweden isn't pushing the pace or putting together any momentum, a bit let down by their goaltending.

Winterton. 7-0. Came right up the center of the ice after a turnover. Great shot.

22 shots by Canada.

Wright takes a penalty. PP Sweden.

Lysell showing off some decent hands and then throws it into the middle of nowhere.

Hard to gauge some of these guys, Sweden as a team just looks like shit.

Sjoholm looks good. Has made some smart outlet passes, got a big hit in, and has kept the play alive with a couple of pinches. Doesn't look like a high-end offensive defenceman though. Much bigger than what he's listed as online.

Winterton could be a sleeper. Didn't play this year because of OHL. Really nice shot for the goal because of changing the angle at the last second and created the chance by reading the play. He's gotten involved on multiple occasions by reading the play and being in good position

Pretty big guy with quick acceleration and a decent shot. I'm not in love with his on-ice awareness, but he looks decent.

Can visualize him as a 2nd line, small power forward - agitator type. Ryan Hartman except with a better shot. Ranked 20-32. I expect that's where he goes.

Definitely over 6', good skater too. Not a passenger and really looks like he wants to make things happen when he's on the ice. I think he's worth looking at longer.

He looks better than both Robertsson and Lysell in this game. Not sure why his current ranking is late 1st - early 2nd. It's one game though. Definitely need more views.

For Sweden, Lysell, Edvinsson, Sjoholm, and Rosen are looking like the top end of their roster.

Lysell: Small, quick, great puck handler. Pulled off a couple of good passes. Soft and easily pushed to the perimeter. Avoiding contact and not making smart plays consistently - a couple of times going for the nice play rather than the smart one.

Edvinsson: f***ing big. Really strong skater. Plays Canada's rushes pretty well and has gotten the puck out of trouble. Not Hedman or Ekblad 2.0, a rank below that.

Sjoholm: Good skater and makes smart decisions with the puck. Stepped up on Othmann with a big hit (though it led to a goal). Makes good decisions with his pinches and puts the puck in the right place. I don't see much creativity, but he's effective and smart. I like him.

Rosen: Good skater, good size, one of the few forwards doing anything for Sweden. A couple of strong plays off the rush that created chances. Noticeable which says a lot for Sweden.

Robertsson: Skates pretty well, very strong support in the defensive end. Seems like a good two-way guy, hard to gauge offence this game.

These goalies for Sweden are just terrible. Canada is outplaying Sweden but it shouldn't be 9-0.

McTavish gets the puck at the blueline, no contest, puts it over the goalie's shoulder with a pretty meh shot.
