I think Blais is a little more established than Kivi. Would peg him at a Dickinson+ valuation

Had to check, the CBA ends in 25-26, so I think they structured that 26-27 year deal like that in case they could do a compliance buyout before a new CBA? It's the only year without a huge signing bonus.

I looked at Dom's Makar projection, and just thought that the guy looks like someone's NHL Be A Pro. Just a dude made out of a video game. These numbers are actually conservative compared to Dom's model.

Unless Devon Levi is a surefire starting goaltending prospect, that's a pretty killer deal. That 1st rounder isn't going to be particularly valuable, 20+ more than likely.
