So it starts today. I am missing Canada but still I hope for good tournament and some outstanding performances from future hockey stars.
My prediction is:

2. Finland
3. Slovakia (my dream :) )
4. Sweden
5. USA
6. Czechia
7. Switzerland

This first game I believe is most important game of group stage for us. Should be a great game, but let’s hope HockeySlovakia has better production quality with stream :naughty:

Finland lineup against Russia

Goalie:
30 Niklas Kokko
Backup:
31 Manu Lukkarinen
1:
13 Joakim Kemell – 14 Jere Lassila – 10 Otto Hokkanen
8 Otto Heinonen – 3 Kasper Kulonummi
2:
17 Emil Järventie – 11 Topi Rönni – 12 Jani Nyman
6 Rasmus Vuorinen – 5 Otto Salin
3:
20 Aleksanteri Kaskimäki – 21 Samu Bau – 19 Kasper Lundell
2 Thomas Grönlund – 4 Elmeri Laakso
4:
18 Tommi Männistö – 27 Lauri Raiman – 23 Kasper Halttunen
9 Juuso Vesala
13. Forward:
24 Oskari Vuorio

Players to keep eye on:
Joakim Kemell most entertaining players to watch he got sweet dangles and highlight reel moves really skilled and talented forward who likes to make big tackles aswell
Otto Hokkanen big guy who could also play center really silky hands and skates well for his size
Emil Järventie is one of those forwards that is pretty good at everything but isn't big in size
Topi Rönni could be this years Samu Salminen
Jani Nyman another good winger
Otto Salin could be this drafts Aleksi Heimosalmi. Really good skating puck carrying defensman
Elmeri Laakso is really talented defender who likes to shoot his got great vision and passing abilities but isnt the most explosive skater
Tommi Männistö is the most competitive forward of this group. He plays the game right way gets to dirty areas and has never give up attitude
Kasper Halttunen big buy with lovely hands can score and set up plays also really physical loves to make big tackles top top prospect for 2023

I think this is first national team outing for Kasper Lundell he and the two year younger youngsters Järventie and Halttunen have kind of taken spots from Sulku, Hynninen and Maurola who have featured in this age group in the past. Also from defense Mönkkönen, Joutsi, Hintikka and Konidaris seem to have fallen out of favour for Vuorinen and Vesala

Thank you... I'm pretty sure we are going to get slaughtered...
Don’t think so… it’s a pretty good team we have. Obviously no Hamara hurts but we outplayed USA in the prep match. Some people said Czechs looked quite good. Wouldn’t write them off so fast.
Hujer, Sapovaliv, Slavicek, Jecho, Sale, Kulich, Rymon, Petr, Formanek.. all above average players by Czech standards.
I hope it translates to results.

Sweden gives up 2-on-1's like they're candy lol.

Really like what I've seen from Östlund, & Pettersson. Pretty much everybody else looks rusty. Fransson has done well too.
