Reminds me of Ribeiro.
Looks like a super heavy D. I believe the last time D went in each of the top 3 was 1995 with Berard, Redden and Berg.

Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s 4 to start the draft.Looks like a super heavy D. I believe the last time D went in each of the top 3 was 1995 with Berard, Redden and Berg.
I think more than anything the sens need a second play driving forward. I don't care if they are a winger or a center I just think its needs to be a player that demands the puck and can break a game open. Seems all the best teams have two of these types of players, the sens have Stuetzle they just need a second one. I think they have wingers and support players that can score in the system. Kent Johnson looks like he could be that player, immense talent.I dont want another D, I want a goal scorer.
Agreed, I like Kent Johnson a lot, if they decide to go with a centre & Dylan Guenther if they decide to go with a RW forward, both positions could use an upgrade & both these guys would be great additions.I think more than anything the sens need a second play driving forward. A D-core of Chabot, Power, Sanderson. Brannstrom would be lethal if they all reach their potential.
I would probably put Power,Clarke and Johnson in one tier, followed by Lambos,Edvinsson,Hughes,Guenther,Beniers and Eklund in the next. Not for this draft. If we end up with a top-5 pick the D are much better than the forwards available.
And the older you get and more you learn, the more you appreciate getting themDrafting a D in the first round is like getting socks and underwear for Christmas.
Sure I need them, but its nothing to get excited about.
What if they are sexy socks?Drafting a D in the first round is like getting socks and underwear for Christmas.

Lol. It's odd because I checked the end of the thread to see if it was already posted. When I did that it didn't show your post. I saw you mention the Michigan vs Minnesota game but not the Kent Johnson goal. I thought you would have posted it given you mentioned the game so I was surprised when I didn't see anything. Did you update your post or did I just completely miss the fact that you had posted that?so slow Rafi

Regardless, Kent Johnson looks pretty damn talented. The broadcasters mentioned that he is a rink rat and the coaches have to constantly try to push him out of the rink which is a good sign.
