They walked into the season expecting a top 5 (their own), and a bottom 10 pick. And Byfield/Stutzle are legit elite prospects, so I dont think anyone needs to feel bad for them.

Detroit and the league's integrity are the biggest losers today imo.

I dont know a whole lot about Gunler but Pronman says hes not a lock for a first round pick. I think literally every mock ive seen has had him between 10-20 so thats a little confusing

Yea I think Gunler is a guy that was just projected too high for him to have ever been on my radar.

Interesting that his reasoning is that the Sharks have gained a reputation for making gambles. Also mentions Khusnutdinov or Neighbors as safer alternatives.

I think thats mostly Merkley, but also taking Kniazev and Hamaliuk above where they were supposted to be picked would help. Personally I like the risky picks a lot

Meh. I dont find Rantanen all that more impressive than Meier. Having Barzal as our 1c would make me much more happy
