McLeod + a pick should do it, but the question is what pick exactly? I know McLeod is a former first rounder but his value at this point is not that great I guess. Blue Jacket would ask about the 18th or 20th overall + McLeod I think. A second rounder instead is not gonna get the job done.

Askarov, Quinn or Jarvis are probably a pipe dream at 18 but a trade up for any of those 3 would make me ecstatic as well. I would also love a useful roster player like Anderson, DeBrusk, Dunn or Cernak but not sure I’d want to give 18/20 up for them. Maybe we could use the 2021 Isles 2nd/Carolina 3rd as ammo. A trade down from 20 to recoup an extra 2nd or 3rd (and still nab one Reichel or Greig) would be icing on the cake.
