Just shows the difference in skill at this point. The Kings may be close in points but they are not even in the same stratosphere as Colorado.

This is the next step in the Kings growth. They're a bubble playoff team at best. At some point in the future they can go head to head with the best in the NHL. It's games like this that will be used to show us where the next tier of the Kings is going to be. We're not there yet at all. Avs are just a much better team.

Kings aren't playing bad either. They're just flat outmatched.
