Love Toronto's roster. Elite forwards, elite top pair, solid depth, and a goalie that can steal games. It's a really well rounded roster that I think would be pretty tough to beat. The connection between MacKinnon and Bura who tore up this years playoffs is valuable as well. I mean, MacK had a 70% CF% and 21.5% CF% relative. He dominated. The team looks like a top tier contender to me.

Pittsburgh was a more fun build. Panarin-Larkin would be dynamic, and a scorer beside them is a good fit. Tatar-Suzuki know each other and have a skilled work horse with them to get them the puck. Rielly's best D partner in his career has been 37 year old Ron Hainsey.. for real. The list of guys he has played with is atrocious and Hronek would by far be the best he has ever had. Without injuries he should bounce back just below 18/19 form. The forward depth is underrated with upside, and Samsonov in net backed by Bernier who was solid on a dreadful Detroit team is nice. Think the team could get a few rounds deep.

put jesper fast on your top line as the F3. he's really, really smart defensively. bobby ryan just can't handle the top line, so move him down to line three where he at least has a chance to contribute some depth scoring rather than be an anchor.

I think the top-9 as a whole is quite meh and Kakko would need to take a big step to help this team score enough to go deep D...and by next year I am not completely convinced.

You have a good top pair and a great goalie going for you, but also question the defensive depth. Scandella is up and down and not totally sold he can repeat, and not sure Juoelvi or Bortuzzo should be a constant player on a team, nevermind both on the same pair.

Overall it is a solid team though and agree with HN where he said this is one of the better teams you built.
