so far his shifts have been short, there was one play where he wanted to jump in but they couldn't get the puck to him.

nice breakout from him there.

true to his word Norlinder is out there on the 1st PP unit.

1-0 Frolunda!

former Hab prospect Max Friberg taking a stick to the jaw, surprised that wasn't called.

2-0!

Pretty good 1st period for Norlinder and Frolunda. I thought Norlinder played well in his own end, took the body, moved the puck. so far so good.

A couple good breakout passes from Norlinder early for the quick transition. He's getting a regular shift , his coach wasn't kidding, looks like he's gonna use him. He's at RD as Montreal said, he was just on the first PP wave.

Watching the season opener . He has a pretty active stick in the defensive zone, I'll give him that. He tends to be out of position a lot in his zone but he works hard at keeping up with the play, you can see he's trying.

2-0 Frolunda after one. Norlinder should be +1 but he wasn't really involved on the goal, he did have a few flashes in the offensive zone though, not too bad for his first SHL period ever.

While everyone's eyes are on Norlinder, I'm trying to focus on Olofsson and Skelleftea. But it's a bit hectic here in the house, as well having soccer and tennis on here so my attention isn't 100% on the hockey game.

yea that was all Raymond but good to get the 1st point out of the way
They're not giving it to him ATM, might be corrected later, he was definetely the last guy to pass it before the give and go.

Edit : Nah Hjalmarsson was the last one to pass it, I missed it on the tight camera angle, I had it wrong.

Norlinder with an assist on the Raymond’s PP snipe.

Edit: Looks like they took it out. But still had a great shift as the QB of the PP.

it was listed but looks like they changed it unless i mistaked the 1 for a shot on the official SHL site.

swing and miss on that attempted hip check though, that would have been a nice hit had he connected.

gets a shot off in the final second of the 2nd. got a good bit into that one.

Wow all 5 white jerseys are below the hash marks, and 2 red jerseys are behind the play. Coaches on both teams must be going nuts. Don't show this video to Julien until he's fully recovered!

Edit: I totally misread this play, thought white was in the attacking zone.

Norlinder comes close on that play, some nice movement in the offensive zone for him there.

boo, what a weak slashing call against Norlinder, he made a good defensive play imo

Norlinder's team wins 3-0, nice game from him and Frolunda. he had 17:46 TOI, 1 hit, 1 shot, 2 pims.

Fantastic. That's a good amount of ice time, flashed his offensive tools and his team got the shut out.

I might be so bold as to put him ahead of Romanov. Well see.

Skelleftea almost dropped it in the end. They were up 4-1 and Leksands tied it 4-4 with 9 seconds left in the game. However, Skelleftea won 5-4 in OT.

Jacob Olofsson: 0 pts / -1 / 0 hits / 11:40 TOI (third lowest among forwards. But after the second period was over, you saw him jump on the ice and skate around, possibly testing something out. He probably got hurt, which would explain his lower ice time despite being on the second line).

Oilers' prospect Philip Broberg had 1 goal and 2 assists.
