The best team won, I'm fine with this.

Hard to hate on Finland, they were the far better team tonight.

But yeah, talk about a brutal way to end it. If that stick doesn't break it is going in for sure (barring a crazy save)

Karma for all the diving and theatrics

I hate how entitled Canada "feels" at this tournament.

People on the WJC board were acting as if the only reason Canada could lose was coaching, never giving any credit to the Finns who have been Canada's kryptonite at the WJC for the last while now.

Plenty of Canadian fans act all tough and talk about how many "best on best" tournaments Canada has won. But god forbid Canada loses a game and the sky is falling. It is pathetic the way people act.

Fins were really lucky. Tying goal goes off shin pad from a play behind the net... Dobson's twig explodes with an open net and the goal on his stick before the Fins go down and score the winner...

Terrible luck.

Still should have had Frost take that Penalty shot imo.

USA moves on .. dominated the Czechs ... Did Zadina score any goals in the tournament?

USA plays Russia next I believe (Russia up 3-0 in their game)

He has been good every time I've watched

Skates hard, goes to the net hard, good release, faceoff specialist & has a good touch on the PP

Poor mans ROR

I’m somewhat excited about how he might turn out, the USA has been pumping out solid players for a few years now and he has been among the best in his country year in and year out.

Quite a few Fins being drafted to the NHL in the first round lately.

As weird as this may sound I actually wanted the Fins to win. For some reason I wasn't on board with this Canada team... Canada losing were the hockey gods getting back at them after what hey did to the Danes

To be honest, they looked like they were trying not to lose tonight. Rather than play to win. The gold game falls on my birthday every year. I hope Finland goes for gold this season.

He had one assist. But considering there was only one game they scored more than one goal, there weren't that many points to go around.. :/

I loved seeing the Finnish coaches celebrate after the win, such a huge moment for all of them.

And congrats to the Finnish coach who had a baby on game day - when the things like this happen the hockey gods feel it and there’s nothing you can do. Score with 40 seconds left, stop a penalty shot, the hockey gods come down to break Dobson’s stick - and the hockey gods end the game the way they do, in hockey god style.

It actually wasn't that bad of a game by Canada. They definitely could have played better but the it was more the Finns playing a really good game then the Canadians playing bad.

Luukkonen was as I figured, just a big dude that is really tough to score on. He's going to be a special goalie if he continues developing.

This year's team should have been better. A lot of the top guys didn't show up like they needed to, especially on defence.

Congrats to the Finns, hopefully they win it all now.
