A's last 5 series are Royals x2, Rangers x2 and Seattle. If they can hang in until then, I really like their chances.

The Yankees are basically like the Bruins or Blues of this past playoffs. They need to hope the Dodgers and Astros are somehow knocked off before they have to face them because they’re never beating either of those teams.

It’s pretty crazy that right now someone has to go 32-19 at least to get to 90 wins. I’m thinking both WCs will be between 85-88 wins. If you’re the Dodgers you just hope it’s not WSH or NYM who wins the WC. Those are probably the two most dangerous teams with deGrom/Thor and Strasburg/Scherzer in a short series

The Braves pitching stats still argue they should be significantly worse than their record. I’m just having to assume they somehow have all or most of their bad pitching games when they hit and have good pitching when they don’t hit. That means come October the pitching will have to be better because you likely won’t be able to continue matching the offense with the pitching like that against good teams every night

As an Angels fan, I'm used to being depressed around this time of year, but this season has taken it to another level. Can't wait for this shit show to just end.
