They sucked last year. If it wasn't for Edwin Diaz they never even sniff the postseason race.

At least they were above .500 and still had Paxton, Cruz, Cano, and Diaz.

Now, they are basically the Orioles.

Shane Greene fittingly blows his first save attempt as Braves closer.

At least they were above .500 and still had Paxton, Cruz, Cano, and Diaz.

The Mariners did the right thing. They were trapped in 85-87 win hell with zero assets left to get better. And most of the players they traded have had very disappointing years.

After 2 decades at trying the same thing with no success, they finally did the right thing. They're building for something finally.

Cano blows. It's a miracle they could get rid of him. Paxton and Diaz aren't exactly lighting the world on fire either.

Even with all 4 of those players they would be mediocre at best.

Of course Luke Jackson has his most dominant outing in the last several months after we bring in 3 guys to move him down the depth chart with one actually pulling a Luke Jackson before he came in.

Just as we all predicted.

For all of Atlanta’s issues, they are a very resilient team with their bats
Their bats have definitely been the most consistent part of the team. The bullpen was actually very good outside of the the first 2-3 weeks of the season and July though.

Just such a hard team to figure out.

Lol nats outfielder Parra is consistently throwing pitches in the 90-92mph range right now. Put him in the bullpen lol

The Mets after today's game will have a very home heavy schedule (15 more home games to play compared to road games). I wouldn't rule them out as a WC team right now, especially with that rotation. (Yes, I know the bullpen is super shaky at the backend).

Anything can happen. See the path they took to get a WC in 2016 where they looked similarly shaky after July
