Apparently he played 4:33 in the first. An improvement but I could still see them tapping him out at ten minutes for the night and double shifting Eichel late in a close game.
Had that shift where he streaked in and had a shot on net, and was back on the ice not long after, feel they may be willing to go to him more often if he is going to look this good.

If we somehow get a lead he definitely gets nailed to the bench.

That last shift might cost him though. Couple iffy decisions there.

Wonder if it's a style of play thing? Russia is playing a talent game, which allows our guys to play a talent game?

I dunno haven't watched enough of the tourney.

Could be possible, They play a very open game so not a ton of structure. Allows both teams to take advantage of breakdowns or quick changes of possessions.

Like that hit by Eichel. Playing like this game matters.

Thought that hit by Glendening was a bit of a tone setter.
