Honestly.... I'm not even mad. I'm laughing in disbelief.

I might be in shock.

I had doubts about both AV and Fletcher but I never expected this. This is so so so so so much worse than what I thought.

They cannot afford to sign him even if they wanted to...

they have $283,811 cap space with only 20 healthy players.

Yup. But I thought they might demote Twarynski instead of Farabee.

Once Welinski is well enough to go down it'll make things a bit easier.

I think You & others DRASTICALLY overexaggerate Hagg as a guy who allegedly loses games “singlehandedly.”

I think you've failed at evaluating Hagg. He is one of the worst dmen in the NHL. He does nothing well, and a ton of things poorly. Teams generate chances with impunity when he is on the ice and he inhibits offense like no other player on the roster. They are practically a man down when he is out there.

Anybody still want to disagree with calling AV or Fletcher idiots or incompetent?

100%. That's still stupidly reactionary. The Farabee move is ridiculous but Myers was expected. Guy had a spot to lose at beginning of camp and he played poorly enough to lose it. Both Morin and Hagg on the roster is interesting, it shows they don't have much confidence in Hagg.

I am not convinced it isn't an LTIR game, but haven't had the time to investigate. If not, then LOL

Please tell me I'm not the only one laughing at the idea that the Flyers, who entered the offseason with the GDP of a small nation in cap space and a deluge of possible promotions, have officially been more hamstrung by cap space than the Leafs to start the year.

If they really had no confidence in Hagg they would have waived him.

of course not. But that is the highest compliment one can pay him. He is a very bad player. I held out hope , but my god , some of his puck decisions are just inexcusable. He is the king of unforced turnovers. Teams thrive off of that against us.
