Maybe? We've (HF posters) been doing this for years WRT lengthy recoveries, misdiagnoses and the like. It's frustrating, but my guess is it's just a normal thing.

It's not like the front office wants effed up treatment and uncertain player availability. Surely if your trainers/doctors were bad at their jobs other could be found to replace them. And maybe they have. I don't know.

Murray has played 24 games this year and didn't go on IR until after 12/14. The team played like trash the first part of the season but it is unfair to say there is too small of a sample size. He was playing 20 minutes a game until his injury even though he missed roughly 2 weeks with a broken hand too

Harrington? Forever.
Peeke? Maybe another year or so? He still has a nice future in the NHL. it's just a bit over his head right now.
