I agree that back injuries can be serious.

However, he has a stress fracture. Don't forget that Boone Jenner had a stress fracture in his back early on his career and it hasn't seemed to affect his style of play or cause more missed games down the road (so far, knock on wood).

He's never quite regained his 30-goal form.

When (if?) the NHL season does return, which injured Blue...

So if the NHL resumes play this year, here is the rundown on our injured guys:

Atkinson: Good to go.
Jones: Good to go.
Bjorkstrand: Good to go
Kukan: Good to go
Gerbe: Return by late May/early June
Texier: still out indefinitely, healing slower than the team thought.
Anderson: Return by August at best
Dubinsky: out

Wish Anderson and Tex were closer, but Cam/Jones/Bjork healthy is awesome.

According to Portzline, Foudy will be completely available if the CBJ want him since the junior season is now over, and he's been advised to stay ready. Same rules as normal as far as 10 games (8 more) would kick in the first year of his ELC.
