How would overpaying Panarin to be another one-way winger impact the Hawks?

How can people continuously rip “Stanley” for giving out the Toews and Kane contracts, but then advocate FOR giving out another similarly-priced contract on top of those two for a guy who is worse defensively than Toews and worse offensively than Kane?

The Hunter’s are good at developing players in all areas but they also know when to let the horses run. This partially why I was fin with Boqvist going to London.

It had merits

But Stanley failed badly in his assessment not only of Panarin and others involved in trade and his assessment on team he wanted and its been disaster ever since

Stanley "Big Changes" Bowman failed as he has often over last 4+ years

Esposito Trade had merits , Hasek trade had merits , etc doesn't change they were franchise altering mistakes

Some of Stanley's moves were disasters from moment they happened (Rundblad trade , Weise/Flash trade , etc)

Stanley has had some horrendous stinkers
