From a distance, it seems like Binghamton has started winning for 4 major reasons -
A: Their goaltending has improved massively - even with Senn's recent slide, he has his SV% up over .900 when it was comfortably below in the first half of the year
B: They added three top-line AHL players in Boqvist, Merkley, and Kuokkanen - they've lost Anderson (and Mermis and McLeod), but that's still a win, I think
C: They've changed their playstyle after Hynes left
D: A lot of players have improved over the course of the season. It's a very young forward group and that can happen, and it looks like it has happened. Schmelzer, Gignac, Sharangovich, Zetterlund, Maltsev, Studenic, Schnarr - these guys are scoring at 3rd line rates or better and it means the Devils really don't ice a 4th line at all. Even Baddock's boxcar numbers would be good for a 4th line player.
