I always find myself envying Philly drafting for as long as i can remember...

Seven of their last 9 1sts are in THEIR lineup. Called drafting and developing.

Of course they make the odd dumb trade and haven't found a play off goalie in decades.

Yup. I think they couldve done much better without the reach for Lias and Miller but Chytil, Kravtsov and Lundkvist has me incredibly jealous.

Chytil was a tremendous pick at 21. High skill 1st C ceiling, at 21.

No interest in Addison ? With 4 2nd round picks doesn't seem right we dont get a sub 6 foot PMD in this draft.

Was Crawford their amateur scout?

In the end it doesn't matter. Teams should try to pry staff from the organizations with success, not the ones who have been struggling, which is what Habs did by recruiting Crawford from the Canucks.

Schlemko is wrong. Crawford was Canucks top pro scout.

It's incredible.. the Islanders sat back and got a guy with 40 goal potential and a defenseman who will play 1 PP 1 PK, 30 minutes a night.

Yes, he doesn't have any abilities that will make him more than a standard 3rd line player.

Just crazy. I'm happy they went to a team I like.. hope Tavares signs back with them.. Tavares Barzal Dobson and Wahlstrom is definitely a step in the right direction to winning it all.

Why? Outside of Kravtsov, he went around where I expected when the Coyotes decided to value Hayton as a top 5 pick.
