Why are you limiting it to 2000?

Just picked a drop-off date. Went with 2000. I could have gone with 1990, which would have had the same result. Had to draw the line somewhere. 1990 would have been the better choice in hindsight, since it was specifically the 1980s where scoring in college hockey was insanely high and not at all comparable to today.

Andersson (unsurprisingly) looks like a career checking forward, and Miller sounds like a legitimate top-four defenseman? I could live with that.

This just in, player looks like career 4th liner after 20 games, college player is future all star

He doesn’t show the skill that I would expect from a scoring line forward. He’ll be a third line player most of his career and a second-line forward during his prime.

I was speaking under the assumption that the current trend holds. It probably won’t. But, if it were to, I wouldn’t be too upset. That’s my point.
