Trubisky proved himself in that game, especially at the end. He made an incredible pass to Robinson which got them into field goal range. The kicker strikes again

I don't know if there is a worse feeling in the world than what Parkey is feeling right now

Against his former team no less

Not many jobs in the world where you get to cut your “work year” short and go home to your millions of dollars. Poor guy ;)

Kickers don't make that many millions, he probably won't have a job full time next year. Look at what happened to Blair Walsh after his playoff miss.

Chicago Bears[edit]

Cody Parkey in a game against the San Francisco 49ersin 2018
On March 14, 2018, Parkey signed a four-year contract with the Chicago Bears.[17]

On November 11, 2018, against the Detroit Lions, Parkey had four kicks (two extra points and two field goals) strike the uprights; none went through.[18] Despite his misses, the Bears won 34–22. In Week 11 against the Minnesota Vikings, Parkey made 3 field goals in the 25-20 win. He was named the NFC Special Teams Player of the Week for his performance.[19]

On January 6th 2019, he missed a game winning field goal against the Eagles. Shortly after the game, he was found dead in an isolated area of the locker room. The cause of his death has not been confirmed, but it is believed to be a suicide.

the number 1 he wears stands for the left upright he hit

He's a mediocre kicker whose career is possibly over. It's ok to have some empathy for the dude even though you're correct, being rich certainly helps to absorb the blow.

Knowing that town, if I'm the Bears I cut or trade him asap and potentially eat the 3+mil left on his contract.
