Pretty sure Mack Brown took his first HC job when he was around 30. He's been a HC forever, but he also got a couple decade head start on a lot of guys.

He was a student/coach back in the mid 70s, so yea he's been around a loooong time.

So has Saban. Saban started coaching right after college. Pete Carroll too. It's very common.

Satterfield is the new coach at Louisville.

He vowed to open up Louisville practices to local high school coaches which is pretty good for recruitin'.
