Woll getting beat bar-down, but he needed to make one of those stops.

And just as soon as my son's love of the game was rekindled, this.

Sweden played like a team that was coached and disciplined to win this game... USA played like a team of individuals who thought they should win this game

This is such nonsense. It's a one game elimination situation. One team finished their chances, the other team didn't. It's hockey.

Well, look at it this way...... 85% of the country doesn't even know this event is going on. And as a result nobody except us warriors even cares.

But if Sweden ever tries to invade us, we'll kick their asses.........

The US has relied way too heavily on that top line all tournament long. Poehling, Norris, Frederic, etc have provided nothing offensively. There isn't a lot of threatening players outside of Mittlestadt and Tkachuk. You had to know they were going to get burned eventually.

Must not be watching a different hockey game. USA controlled the play with the cycle for most of the 1st and 2nd period. One team just choked away all their chances, never seen so many fanned/flubbed shots.

They’ve looked like that most of the tournament. Just happened that bellows, Fox, and Middlestadt were actually good enough to pull it off. Got out tendered tonight.

This game is reminiscent of Team USA in 2014. Entire team trying to make sure all of their plays go through Mittelstadt just like everyone looked to pass everything to Eichel in 2014.

I agree. Too many of these guys have created nothing. Not surprising, probably the best play Yamamoto has set up in the tournament winds up as a goal.
