I didn’t know I was posting to Instagram, if you’re talking validity out of posts on that metric, man, you better find something real that puts value into your life.
I don't think you should necessarily attribute value to said likes, but, generally speaking, if you say things that are even remotely accurate you'll find people agreeing with you more often than not.

Thus far, over five years, that has...not.. been the case with your posts. So.. take that as you will.

In this specific instance - you're wrong. Completely wrong. But that's pretty obvious and you know that.

great achievement by a great player. Huge congrats to Hall.

I agree his athleticism is his greatest strength, and his hockey sense is a little lacking sometimes I think you're over exaggerating big time.

Hall is a terrific play maker who can single-handedly carry any line you put him on, while making his linemates more productive. In his years as an Oiler his linemates would always post much stronger numbers when they played with Hall vs playing without. You're wrong about him

I don’t deny that he can put up numbers or increase team scoring, but from my evaluation it’s always in a boneheaded way. I don’t think anyone will argue that he is a cerebral as a Crosby, Kane, or McDavid. Halls speed allows for pucks to be put on net, but we are looking at garbage rebounds and fast breaks coming the other way in a large percentage of his failed offensive attempts.

I stand by my first point that I think this will go down as the weakest hart winner of all time.

Taylor Hall's cap hit: $6M.
Milan Lucic's cap hit: $6M.

One of those forwards scored 39 goals and 93 points. The other scored 10 goals and 34 points.

In fairness, Hall's getting like.. 9m+ per year extension at some point this season (I hope).

I still think McDavid should have won the heart. That Oilers team is nothing without him and he had another crazy good season.

Congrats to Hall though, nice to see him rebound and play to the potential he has.

I had to take a couple of years hiatus from these boards due to having other obligations, I’m fairly certain the like feature has become a thing post my return. Ipso-facto, I’m more than willing to field opinions of yours that differ from mine other than “you’re wrong”

Still fine with the trade. I truly don't think a team with Hall as "the guy" will ever go the distance. Big time character issues, but he's a terrific player. It will be interesting to see what he gets on his next contract, especially now that he has a Hart next to his name

He might not be the most conventional player offensively but it is effective. It doesn't really matter at the end of the day how the puck went in. My biggest issue with your statement is you said Hall doesn't elevate the players around him and that is patently false. Look at the underlying numbers, you will be surprised.

I mean good for Hall it was a great year but this shows how silly the Hart really is. Connor McDavid is by far and away the MVP of the league. Why do we care what a bunch of writers have to say on the matter anyways? It's not Connor McDavid's fault the Oilers suck and missed the playoffs. - A salty Oilers fan.

Congrats to Hall! Nice to see him take that step forward, something that likely wouldn't have happened if he stayed in Edmonton.

I think him taking the piss out of himself last year with the whole "draft lottery specialist", plus seeing Edmonton in the playoffs left a bitter taste in his mouth. Happy to see him channel it effectively.

They were nothing with him and his 100+ points this season.

Hall not on the Devils, they don't make the playoffs. Same with Mack not on the Avs, but Mack had a bit of a better supporting cast that had more experience playing on his line.

That's not Mcdavid's fault though. Do you not expect the Devils or Avs to be Exponentially better than they were if they swap those players for McDavid? Oilers are drafting Dahlin this year if they have either Mack or Hall instead of McD.
