I'm so sick of this f***ing cliche.I’ve seen a bit too much disregard for Columbus on this board. We’ve had a remarkable regular season yes, but in the playoffs anything can happen. The expectations have never been higher & this team has never been more determined to win it all. But....
I think some of the y’all about “smoking CLB” or “destroying them” is a bit cocky and overconfident. It’s very hard for the #1 team to make it thru all the way. And usually the 1st Round we are at least one surprise maybe two. Wouldn’t it be something if Columbus comes to play & beats us, winning their first playoff series ever!? I hope it doesn’t happen, BUT doesn’t it seem like the exact type of crazy opposite thing that COULD happen???
All I’m saying folks, is let’s be humble. There’s a long road ahead & whatever we’ve done to this point is irrelevant in the sense of what this team has set out to accomplish. Personally, I don’t want to hear the chirping that would ensue from other fans after an early playoff exit & it would make for a long, painful offseason.

Columbus, both the city and the team, are trash. If we make it to five games it's because an order came on high from Vinik to get one more home game-worth of ticket sales.
Got stuck there for a case for like three weeks. It was awful.Yeah, OK. I am sure you have spent a lot of time in Columbus....

I mean - Las Vegas is a shit town too if you venture out of a casino. Was this 20 years ago...?
Sorry about your experience, but Columbus is booming right now. Rejuvenated Downtown and Short North area. Incredible dining, hotels and watering holes. Amazing school districts and tree-lined immaculate suburbs with some of the best golf courses in the country.
I can tell you, personally, (minus the crappy winter weather) it blows Las Vegas out of the water as an overall place to live.
Actually, it's a shit town if you venture TO the casinos. Outside of the Strip it really isn't that bad, minus the **** schools.I mean - Las Vegas is a **** town too if you venture out of a casino.
Beaches and weather go a long way in making a place not a shit town. I don't give a shit about school systems - I'm not in high school.Actually, it's a **** town if you venture TO the casinos. Outside of the Strip it really isn't that bad, minus the **** schools.
But compared to Tampa? C'mon. Outside of the beaches and weather (which are great, don't get me wrong), Columbus is superior to Tampa on almost every level (culture, economy, schools, etc.)
Lol your team is trash. The only reason it wouldn't be a sweep is if the League stops in and mercy rules your asses after game 3.
My main concerns with Columbus is they aren't the same team we played last and they will be motivated not to be embarrassed the way they were during the season. That doesn't mean they will push us to 7 games or something but it might make for some nailbiters as they focus on not getting blown out.

Out of these teams our 1st choice should be Columbus. We have crazy good stats against them. 6 wins in a row with 3 shutouts and the total score 29 - 7 (goals for - goals against).
