How does Mittelstadt compare to Keller in terms of skill level? Both are described as highly-skilled fast skaters with great vision and hands. I'm assuming Keller has a speed advantage while CM has size.

If we were going to take a risk on Patrick, we might as well take a risk on Liljegren. Seems this isn't the only season he's been injury-prone.

Obviously if we're picking first, liljegren isn't the guy, but if Patrick was the guys the devils had 1st on their list, not having liljegren in top 5 would be a mistake imo.

I'm not taking any DMan in this draft in the top 5, which in all likelihood is where we're going to be picking.

If we can draft Patrick or Hischier and manage to trade back in the 1st round for a slider, that would be my ideal scenario... especially if Maxime Comtois is still on the board in the mid to late 20's.

Max has had a pretty down year. I'm sure the skill is still there and he might be worth a risk. Any idea why his numbers took a dive?

Yikes. That's almost Beau Bennett territory. Huge gamble for a team counting on him to be The Guy (like us). A team like Buffalo or Winnipeg that has more elite young talent in place would be in a better position to take the risk.
