The Rockies are good and aren't exactly a team known for whiffing a ton.
Their offense is in the top third in K%

I remember being disappointed in the Corey Dickerson trade because SP prospect we received was some guy named German Marquez and not Honeywell or Snell.

The Indians seem to be trying to follow the Royals path of using a game 7 WS home loss as motivation.

They are not going away.

A lot of people aren't taking them seriously, but..... as we saw with KC 2 years ago, you never know.

Still AL champs until someone can take the flag from them.

With the Royals getting smacked around and the Twins winning big, it appears there will be FIVE teams within 2 games of each other for the 2nd AL WC. An Angels win would make it 6 teams in that quagmire of mediocrity. I mean shoot, even the Jays will be only 4 out.

******** no one is taking them seriously. For me they are the team to beat come postseason because of Kluber and the rest of that rotation. Sorry Astros fans.

Jake Lamb grand slam!

Dodgers MIGHT lose against someone not named the Atlanta Braves for the first time since July 2

Well, it actually happened.

A team other than the Braves has actually beaten the Dodgers. First time in 20 games.

Last team to do so? July 2, San Diego.

Before that 7/2 game, the last NL team to beat them (lost a few Interleague games vs. the Indians/Angels).... June 6, Washington.

And the Mariners gain a game in the AL West standings! They're only 14 back of the Astros! :sarcasm:

And that's how the Mariners are going to have to win down the stretch. Mash their way to wins. Nice little comeback tonight.

The A's sure helped though...their fielding is...amazing to say to least.

See, I disagree with this. Moreno has deep pockets, so i don't think having Pujols deal would impact payroll unless they were at the tax Threshold.

I think he's been trying to avoid the tax, I also think of all the draft picks they've lost chasing win now moves... That said I think for the right player Arte would go into the tax. I just don't want to see Trouts best years get wasted without being in the playoffs much
