Would Zibanejad even be worth a top 4 defender in today's market? Certainly not one who's young and who has upside like Ceci.
Maybe another Methot, then we lose him or the new defender in expansion a year later. It'd be some real tire spinning imo.
Just sign Ceci to a short term deal.

Trading Ceci for a Top6 FWD like RNH would seem odd unless we were immediately flipping Hoffman for a young D like Fowler. Also don't see how RNH fits in? We'd have so many Centres playing on the wing.
