Game suspended until tomorrow at 3pm ET. Only took them several hours to come to that obvious decision.

Payback for the last time someone used pepper spray.

Better to move the game to another city, but they would need to better control the fans who come.
It actually looks like it might be in Abu Dhabi... LMFAO River have no one to blame but themselves. Boca fans got to experience a once in a lifetime opportunity while River fans embarrassed their club. Sucks for those that paid and were anticipating a great moment for Argentine football. Maybe, next time they can rid this hooligans.

You're kidding yourself if you think River fans, or any fans, won't treat this as a slight and become even more militarized and awful.

There's now video evidence of rocks being thrown from within the stadium at the bus too, so there goes that distinction with 2015.

The match will be rescheduled for either the 8th or the 9th. Boca not satisfied and will appeal the decision in order for them to be handed the trophy. Also it looks like the game will be played in Paraguay. Not finalized yet though.

Latest bit of news if anyone still cares is the "replay" will be held on the 9th in Madrid. Boca still trying to torpedo the game tho.

And lol at Madrid can't host a copa del Rey final but willing to do so for a foreign trophy.

**** CONMEBOL

RIP LIBERTADORES

It's not moving full time and at least it's not in Abu Dhabi. They should've had the game in Brasil just to f*** with Argentina and teach them a lesson. The only ones I feel for are the fans that paid for tickets and were anticipating a game for the ages.

Well Boca doesn't want to play in Madrid either and will appeal against the decision

Boca don't care where they decide to have the game, they just want the cup to be handed to them.

Agree, but it's a real shame that the last edition with a 2 leg final will end like that with the deciding game in... Europe! There's no better feeling than winning it at home or away in front of a hostile crowd... fans are what makes Libertadores so special not the teams (most are a bunch of upcoming stars and Europe rejects). Conmebol just takes the easy route instead of fixing the root of the problem (doubt this would keep happening if they had just suspended River or other clubs involved in those kind of incidents for 2-5 years instead of doing nothing like has been their modus operandi).
