Then and there
The 2018 semi-finalist are now known, 2017 winners Gremio are accompanied by River Plate, Boca Juniors and Palmeiras. Since they're on a different side of the bracket, it would be intriguing to see River and Boca meet in the final (it has never happened before).

In the domestic leagues Palmeiras and Gremio are pretty much neck and neck with just 3 points separating them, whereas in Argentina River and Boca are on equal points as well, although a couple of wins behind the leaders, but the season has just started.

We're halfway there! After losing 1-0 at home to Gremio, River went to Porto Alegre last night and won 2-1 after a dramatic finish to the game with a 95th minute penalty (thanks to the VAR) after which police forces entered the pitch to protect the refs

Boca go to Palmeiras tonight and will defend a 2-0 lead.

Palmeiras v Boca ended in a 2-2 tie so for the first time ever Boca and River will face eachother in a Copa Libertadores final :thumbu:

Games will be played November 7th and 28th. Boca plays the first leg at home.
