Agreed but taking off Benedetto was a mistake probably when the match flipped from boca to river.

Benedetto probably isn't 100% yet, but he should've gone with a more mobile guy than Abila, maybe Tevez as a false 9 (although, Tevez has been awful too).

So, River won't have much time to prepare for the Club World Cup, where they'll play in a week's time. At least Real Madrid will have even less time since they have a one more game before that. Adding that to their poor performances, Real can probably be beaten there.

It's a little less heightened when a title isn't on the line but yes incidents have occurred in league meetings as well.
