Nashville, St Louis, Wild, Islanders I will be cheering for.

Cheering against Montreal.

Kind of want Vancouver to do well because the city comes alive. Just no riot please!

Rangers face Penguins.

Winner of the Atlantic get Sens (currently looking like Habs, if they take that game to OT), 2nd seed (currently Tampa) plays against Wings.

Isles just scored to take the lead, they'll take home ice vs. Caps if they win.

Scratch that, Columbus forced OT.

Man, the way this team played Jagr, we honestly could have advanced to round 2.

we are playing better than the islanders, red wings, and penguins and on par with the Canadiens (not including deflate game last Sunday).

we effing belong in there

Glad that the wild cards match up with their correct divisions (meaning the Habs play the Sens and the Pens play the Rangers). It would feel weird if the Sens were on the Metro side of the bracket and vice versa for the Pens in the Atlantic.

I'm jumping on the Islanders bandwagon as my second favorite team and will be rooting for the Predators in the West followed by the Wild.

I just took the NHL.com Bracket Challenge and chose the Lightning to beat the Hawks in the Cup.

I've always hated the Bolts, but this season, I've come to really respect them as their fans are rooting for us to succeed and get that Florida rivalry started. Plus, their team is stacked and are so damn exciting to watch. I don't know whether to root for them or the Red Wings in Round 1.

I guess I'd like to see Ovie reach a final
also wouldn't mind Minny making it , my fiance is from there so have that rooting factor
but Calgary and the Jets seem like such fun teams , wouldn't mind seeing them succeed

thats about it for teams I'd cheer for

To add further comments:

With the injuries to Pens d-core, they won't stand a chance. I'll be surprised if this series is anything other than a sweep.

Sens had the Habs number the last time they faced in the playoffs, + their season series went 3-1-0 to Ottawa.

Although Tampa took the season series against Detroit (3-1-0), I still think they're too inexperienced to go far in the playoffs.

Isles/Caps was probably the hardest series for me to predict.

Jets, same thing as with Tampa, not enough experience.

Blues/Wild, two similar teams. I think Dubnyk pulls them through.

Preds have been terrible for quite some time, they peaked too early.

Canucks/Flames, should be a tight series. Probably multiple games going to OT.
