I can't believe no one took Tim McGauley, the leading scorer of Hawerlyk's junior team. That kid improved a lot since last season and he's 19.

Damn, Columbus got a real steal #189 Markus Nutivaara. He had really strong playoffs and is primed for a breakout season.

I don't get it.

Well clearly teams had concerns about Vehvilainen. He was projected to be gone by the 5th but wasn't drafted. We're not the only team.

Yeah, I know. However, no one else didn't pick him either so there must be something else to it... or not.
He's probably going to be the Husso of next year's draft and teams will look foolish for not taking him with their 6th and 7th round picks.

Seriously, the chances of getting a goalie at the late rounds is way higher than getting a quality forward or d-man.
