Don't know for sure, but I did get this snippet from Tchkowski's article yesterday that indicated Yakupov was there.

Nail Yakupov didn’t play a lick of baseball growing up in Russia and it showed. He took BP in bare feet and couldn’t hit a ball out of the infield. McDavid was better than that, but not much.

Honest question, does any one know the exact time the Oilers will pick. I know it isnt' right at 5, last year I think it took them a good 20 mins to get to the first pick. I am playing ball hockey but will stop playing and check my phone at the exact time.

It's like ~5:15 give or take. Bettman does his intro and that's usually five minutes or so and then there's a minor break for the networks covering it.

I actually think the Oilers are content with where they are sitting. If they trade the pick, it's probably for an actual NHL D man and not a move up. They still have to stockpile the minors anyway.

From what I've been told. they wont. Either it'll be a forward or traded. I'm thinking likely the former.

1. Evgeny Svechnikov
2. Denis Guryanov
3. Joel Eriksson Ek
4. Colin White
5. Brock Boeser

Defence:

1. Jeremy Roy
2. Jakub Zboril
3. Thomas Chabot
4. Jacob Larsson
5. Oliver Kylington

Goaltender:
1. Ilya Samsanov

As long as we take one of those 11 players, I guess il be okay.
