He hasn't had his best game, but its easy to spot some of his strengths this game. He has made some nice plays, also lost his cool a little, and has not been rewarded.
I like what I have seen. He's not as good as Mcdavid tonight. But few are.

Mcdavid really is taking his game to another level. What I have seen tonight has been better than what I have seen from Tavares in his draft year. High praise.

He's had his moments for sure, but has been mediocre throughout the playoffs so far which isn't what I expected/hoped for in a top 5 draft pick.
I would obviously bring up how Marner has excelled in these playoffs so far (before getting hit in the head) but I don't want to be called out for bias.
