wow, this Klingberg guy has got 20 points in 18 games. Is he a product of Benn+Seguin or is he really so good?

I haven't seen any Pens games except the one where they made us look terrible. What's going on up there? Has the "Kessel is an albatross" talk started yet?
Going to ECF over Rangers will be very good in itself, not depending on the rest of playoff. Rangers are good.
And it will make guys much more confident which should help after (and following years too).
So we just should focus on 1) getting to playoffs 2) winning 1st round 2) winning against Rangers.
Bernier is hot garbage, but Babcock has the Leafs improving after each game. Imagine if they had a goalie like Price or Lundqvist, they could be a bubble team.
The Rangers will come back down to Earth in the very near future. 46.1 CF% (28th) and 106.6 PDO (1st). Their forward corps is underrated but their defensive corps is massively overrated and they're being buoyed by The King.
It's obvious the Rangers aren't going to maintain a 130+pt pace for the entire season. Puck luck will change a bit, and they'll come down somewhat. However, the points they've already earned are banked and not going anywhere. Further still, almost all of their time is spent with the lead. Their CF% is 50.2 in score close situations (and their FF% and SF% are even better). The territorial game tells the same story, as they take 5.4% more draws in the offensive zone than the defensive in score close situations. They're not as bad as the 46.1% 5-on-5 CF% suggests, simply because they're spending such a large portion of their time defending big leads.
That rebound wasn't bad. It was the fact the scoring player was almost right beside the shot at the blue line and was completely untouched from that point. I would say that defense was even worse than the center ice goal. Those bounces right in front are always dangerous.Leafs tank is on... they even brought Vesa Toskala back.
Not sure which one is worse, that Stepan goal or that rebound which lead to the GWG in the final minute.
Can't speak too much to the first one, but that second one is a true statement. Aren't the Penguins giving up some crazy amount of shots a game? No. It's more of the "Mike Johnston takes some of the best offensive talent in the world and neuters them and should be fired" talk along with the "their defensive core is laughably overrated and being held afloat by MAF" talk.

Isn't King supposed to carry his team? That's part of the strategy to me. Elite goalie.
According to Friedman, Department of Player Safety has received requests from teams to monitor Tom Wilson.
How about instead, you quit *****ing about clean hits? He got penalized for the one charge. ****ing whiny pieces of ****.
