Congrats to Germany and Blackhawk German fans. Showing the end and the crowd, I could only think of the old NFL films... the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat. Since I had no investment in either team, seeing Argentina fans crying was a bit amusing. The Argentina team looked like they were straight from Europe. Didnt expect to see that since I didnt watch any of the other matches.

Congrats to Germany. They were clearly the best team of the tournament and proved it today. I feel real bad for Messi. He played his heart out and definitely deserved the golden boot.

If I was him I would have pulled a bad boy pistons and just left the field fast. Props to him for staying out there and having to watch Germany celebrate.

words can't discribe the feelings we have here.

That was a great exerience, this was fun and I've seen this many being happy at the same time. Just go out, have fun and all this without any violence involved. No bad feelings. Strangers huging each other and drink together. Watched the game with friends, we were nervous and the longer they both weren't able to score the more nervous we became. When Götze finally scored, we knew this was our time. We started celebrating but still... weren't sure.

That moment when Lahm got the trophy and everything was over was just unbelievable.


After that I left my friends (they have to work today, I'm at home) and went to the city. There were 20000-25000 people. Seeing this was just ... wow ... Went there with a girl I just meet before the game and it was all just fun. Drinking, party, kissing world cup duplicates

Went home at 5 AM....

We've waited to long to win anything. We were close all the time. Lost in the final 2002, semis 2006 & 2010. European Championship the same. final 2008 and semis 2012.


all the time between the tournaments it's been talked about winning the world cup. Winning something meaningful.

Even with Özil playing like crap. Even without a natural Left back and with missing Reus, who is probalbly the best german player.
