What do you guys see at the goalie situation in 14-15?

Do you see Lehner finally taking over as a #1?

How many games do you see each of Lehner and Anderson playing?

Thanks!

Assuming they're healthy obviously I would guess Anderson gets 50 games and Lehner gets 30.

Is Chaisson really top 6 already?

I'd see him with Zibanejad as RW on the 3rd - that's assuming we sign a centre. Love Statsny but I'm sure everone does. Wonder about Grabovski on the radar

Hoffman - Zibanejad - Chaisson

MacArthur - Turris - Stone
Chiasson - Zibanejad - Ryan
Greening - Pageau - MIchalek
Condra - Smith - Neil

Looking at this roster makes me sad. There's still a long way to go before the season starts but I'm concerned that we will be a bottom 3 team in the east.

8 forwards who aren't on ELCs lmao

8 defensemen logjammed on the back-end. One who has a 1-way despite never playing 1/4 of a season in the NHL. One who is 35+ and can barely play. And somehow, Wiercioch is gonna be the one traded

Considering how awful the entire Eastern C. is, I think they will figure it out just fine. I am pretty confident in this team ATM.

Now that Pittsburg is basically dead, and Boston seems to be struggling, who exactly is going to be hard to beat?

Tampa? Rangers? lol.

yes
Do want a last or near last place finish or another bubble finish?

I'd rather finish last. This team cant do damage.

Had they actually improved on some of their defensemen from last year I thought they'd probably be OK without Spezza, but they're going to keep running Phillips and Cowen out their for 20+ minutes/game.

At best they'll finish around where they did in 13-14, but it wouldn't surprise me if they end up with a top 5 pick in 2015.

If only. This team is still a bit below average. Which means a pick in 10 - 15 range.

I think the best course action at this point is a tank job. Ryan to Philly for Brayden Scheen+ 2015 1st, still resign Mac for veteran leadership, Methot for 2015 2nd (to help us tank) and keep Anderson to split starts with Lehner as he builds up. Suck hard enough for one of McDavid, Eichel or Barzal.
