His expressions are priceless. You can see that it's all about working to build the best team with this guy. Anything that interrupts that work process is, well, a distraction.

Buffalo Sabres have made a couple of changes to Fridays practice schedule.
Each practice session has been moved up at least 60 minutes and each session will be a longer practice.
90 minutes long instead of 45 minutes long. There are no changes to Saturdays schedule.

Friday, September 19 - Session One - 10:00 am ET - 11:30 am ET.
Session Two - 12:00 pm ET - 1:30 pm ET.
Session Three - 2:00 pm ET - 3:30 pm ET.

Saturday, September 20 - Session One - 10:00 am ET-11:15 am ET.
Session Two - 11:30 am ET-12:45 pm ET.
Session Three - 1:00 pm ET-2:15 pm ET.

Bumping this up since it might have got lost because of all the comments on pictures of Tim Murray from yesterdays delivering of season tickets.

As for the practice times moving up - friend wasn't happy. He was going to attend the last session - 3:30 pm ET-4:15 pm ET - driving there right after work. Now because it was moved up 90 minutes - 3:30 pm ET to 2:00 pm ET and despite it being a longer practice - its not worth going as he would only be able to watch 15 minutes of it - thats even if they do the full 90 minutes. (He would have got to the First Niagara Center around 3:15 pm ET.)

The Zadarov - Pysyk combo is somewhat puzzling. Would the Sabres use Pysyk as a #7 D when he's still at such a critical point in his development? You'd think they would want to give him a lot of ice time, no?

Does this mean he's Rochester-bound, if Risto makes the team?

They are on the outside looking in right now, but they are being given the chance to compete with a very good partner. I think playing them together gives them the opportunity to shine and show that they belong.
