Clowe is done. He might play two years of that contract decently enough, but New Jersey will regret it.
Maybe it's just me but signing a 28 year old to a 7 year deal doesn't seem that bad...especially if he stays healthy. The cap his isn't that big either for a top UFA at 5.3M. He's had a full season post concussion and he was a BEAST in the recent playoffs.

Now signing Clowe to 5 years on the other hand...

Finally the UFA day is pretty funny....where you can laugh at every other teams but ours....We'll just laugh at our team AFTER....;)

Horton is being underrated. He's been consistent since Florida. He's a good player that brings up his level in important games.

Look at his regular season numbers last year.

If you don't show up in the regular season there are NO IMPORTANT GAMES!!

So we missed half of season of hockey because owners were crying about not making money. Now today owners have their GMs throwing money around like it's falling out of trees:laugh:


No wonder they wanted caps they can never control themselves.

Ridiculous post. Horton had one off-season, is still young and has produced consistently outside a shortened season without a training camp.
