Button names some prospects from 2013 as an potential stars at twitter:

2013 NHL draft may be star studded. Nathan MacKinnon, Seth Jones, Anthony Duclair, Alexandr Barkov, Sean Monahan & Curtis Lazar look great.

Anthony Brodeur

Regardless of his skill level I hope the Devils take him. If not only for the lulz  and the collective "oh ****" from 29 teams if he ends up remotely close to his dad.

There is strong group coming from SEL Junior leagues. Including Burakovsky, Crus-Rydberg, Robert Hägg and Jacob De La Rose but Markus Soberg is seriously challenging from the top spot from SEL Jr. But Nick Sörensen should be most talented one from Sweden/Norway/Denmark but he's playing CHL but I like Soberg's work ethic, drive and the pace of his game is impressive. Very intriguing prospect.

I sure want to see Brandon and those two D-men, Roy and Pulock. Lots of good forwards, 2013 should be awesome. As a Leaf fan I am quite used to the Leafs blowing it every year, but maybe '13 will finally be their lucky year!

If I can I will try to see more of those forwards too, Klimchuk, Lazar, Rankin, Monahan, Duclair...

Crazy to think Mackinnon, Erne and Drouin could all be on the same team right now.

I can't wait until Craig gets a chance to see Tyler Motte at the World Hockey Challenge.

The #2 pick from this past summer's QMJHL draft, Jonathan Drouin, is apparently finally reporting to Halifax, per RDS.

Can anyone say stacked?

Very, very excited to see him play in Halifax if this is true. I was disappointed when I heard he wasn't reporting to Halifax. Glad he decided to come back.

Frk will be playing Friday night against PEI so if it isn't a stacked offense this year it will be next year, but I think with who we have when healthy(and Drouin) we are right up there with everybody except a healthy Sea Dogs

I'm very excited to see what Halifax can do next year. MacKinnon, Ashley, Frk, Ciampini, Fucale, Drouin, Ryan etc. all getting another year of experience. The loss of Grenier will actually help, IMO. I'm interested in seeing who they can bring in that'll bring experience.

Matthew Wuest is reporting it now too, so hopefully it happens soon.
Moose fans probably shouldn't get too excited until he's taken his first shift, though.

Rasmus Ristolainen scored one goal and had one assist in yesterday's game against Ässät. That goal was great slapshot from the point.

As expected, Ristolainen made it to the Finnish WJC Camp and Finland has two players in WJC who are 2013 draft eligible (Ristolainen and Barkov).
