I wonder if this might be a case where the Sabres are being super-cautious with Neuvirth. I'm pretty sure that Murray et al knows what they have in him, and might be giving Loo and Hackett a couple of games to maybe judge if they get tenders/contracts in the offseason.......

Leino played two shifts for the Sabres. He had a 49-second run during the opening three minutes, then had a nine-second shift with 4:30 left before departing for the dressing room. Leino ignored a request for comment on his way toward the team bus.

“Ville, he got a little lightheaded in the first period, so they took him out of precautionary reasons, did some testing on him,†Nolan said. “I’ll have to talk to the medical guys to see what the exact problem was, but he just wasn’t feeling very good.â€

The Lame-0 didn't practice today. I'm good as long as he's healthy enough for a CBO this Summer.

Sabres’ Ville Leino OK after ‘scary’ migraine

The odd ailment Ville Leino experienced last week was “a type of migraine,†the Sabres forward said today.

“Your eyes are on a delay and your mind or face or feelings come a little late,†Leino said after returning to practice inside the First Niagara Center.
