But none of them are stay-at-home defensemen. Mark Stuart, Tobias Enstrom are both really good defensemen, Adam Pardy isn't better than Mark Fraser, Grant Clitsome is injured right now, and isn't the best defensively, and Keaton Ellerby, whose more inconsistent than Fraser. Plus, they're playing Byfuglien at RW more often, so they don't have very many hard hitters in the back end (Keaton Ellerby is the only one left).

do you even know who they are? Stuart, Pardy and Ellerby are all stay at home Dmen. and are easily as good if not better then Mark Fraser, Fraser is 8th on our depth chart a team whose among the weakest in the league and he still can't crack our top 7. he's not an upgrade on any of those guys and besides Winnepeg has no shot at the playoffs, why would they trade anything for a UFA? not to mention one that would never see the ice.

Callahan Might Be on the Block

Ryan Callahan of the Rangers has been made available by Sather. Clarkson + 4 1sts rounders, let's do it.

But in all seriousness, he's asking for 6 mill per season. There's probably no way he could end up in Toronto unless Clarkson was going the other way, but hey, never know right?

He's honestly what the Leafs, and well every other team, need and it would be amazing if Nonis pulled something off. Thoughts?
