Puck was bouncing and he couldn't get wood on it.

Not trying to be overly defensive of him though. He hasn't looked good tonight. His decision making in the Dzone is just too slow. He's fine in 1 on 1, 2 on 1, rush situations because playing that is all instinct, but you can see him either on a breakout or just defending in the zone *thinking* about what his assignment is, instead of just knowing instinctively where he needs to be.

He could use a boost of confidence, that’s sooooo important for a defenseman in particular.
