Drafting smaller skilled players who were passed in previous drafts is usually a good thing, but this one is kind of extreme. At 20, one would hope he'd have more proven success in the KHL.
You'd really hope that weight measurement is outdated, because that is not a lot. But it's the same type of pick as Palmu last year. Undersized skilled double overager. His totals last year are huge, and he already played mainly with men this year, but he didn't put up a lot of points. It's a skill pick and I like that, it worked out well last year with Palmu so far.
Holy Crap - Apparently our carefully crafted strategy this draft was to concentrate on players who are extremely slender........certainly not setting any size records here are we?
