Devils are not out of the conversation. A professional coach will do that. But we're probably seeing recency bias at work. They just destroyed one of the worst teams in the league. Go back 2 weeks to their previous game and you wouldn't have given them a second look. 3 of their 5 wins are against Rangers and Buffalo. Good on them, but I expect all those remaining games against the top teams will catch up to them.

Four of our wins are against the same teams for what it's worth.
