Pittsburghs teetering right now, believe it or not. We have to take advantage of this. And I think we might win if we score more goals than them. And we might lose if we're outscored. Just my prediction, don't bet on it.

I wouldn't trust United with my mail, let alone getting me somewhere on time. They are literally the worst

It's my understanding that United always over books their flights. We had friends get to their connecting gate slightly late (due to when their plane landed and little time to change gates). Not late enough that the plane was gone but late enough that they gave their seats away. They caught a later flight but they were mad that the airline didn't bother to account for the fact that they were unable to get to the gate sooner.

So the real key is score goals and play good D.

Pens seem to be kind of flat right now. Not sure if it's temporary or something more permanent.

And all the talk about how dominant the West is over the east-should look at the Metro vs Atlantic. Right now the Pens are the only Metro team in the top 8. If playoffs started right now two Atlantic teams get left out of the playoffs who have more points than the two metro teams that get in.

Not convinced this will continue to be the case but right now it's a good indicator of just how awful the metro is.

Penguins always have a time during the season when they suck. Kind of line the bruins. Their coach got fired the year they won the cup (and it was a response to the w-l escorts of the club, not some New Jersey screw job of firing a coach in 1st place based on a hunch & the complaint of some whiny ***** players)

Finally got on the aircraft, we pulled away, and then sat on the tarmac for 40 minutes while Air force One landed... This is the 3rd flight they tried to get me on out of SFO, it is my seatmates 5th...

With no weather issues at all..I had a friend take 36 hours to get from Boston to St. Louis.

Could have driven there and back..

Tuukka is 1-5 in his career vs the Pens during the regular season for whatever that's worth.

MAF 11-5-2 in his career, and 5-1-1 @ TD with 1.91/.939%

Any impact on tonight's game?

Nahh...Tuukka's regular season history against Pitt is 2010 and last year. Last year Pitt was lighting the world on fire while we had a team that looked completely disinterested in hockey. 2010 we just flat out sucked.

The Penguins and Rangers are the only two teams that consistently seem to have the Bruins number year after year (complete role reversal in last year's playoffs though). It would be nice to finally see some success against the Penguins in the regular season. The Bruins at least played well against Pittsburgh in the first game. They've played some truly awful games against them over the years though.

bylsma has noted that sometimes guys score goals that just don't go in. so it's not going to be enough just to score goals, but guys are going to actually have to get the puck across the goal line, and thus on the scoreboard. that's gonna be the big factor in tonight's matchup.
