I think that was because Pavelski lost his man because of speed and the others overcompensated for it.

That’s exactly what it was. When Pavelski followed across the slot trying to catch up to his guy, he left Klingberg on an island flat footed against a streaking Hawk.

He stayed with 38 even after he lost a step, there was no rotation. One of the others should be stepping out to Suter. Neither did.
